Living With Memory Loss Groups

What is a Living With Memory Loss Support Group?

Members of this support group are people who are living with memory loss. There is an opportunity to share experiences, support one another and develop management tools within a social context. 

Who is eligible to participate in a Living With Memory Loss Support Group? 

People who have completed a Living With Memory Loss program are invited to join the monthly support group.

Stepping Out Groups

What is Stepping Out?

Stepping Out groups are social and activity based groups for people living with memory loss. The groups cater for up to six people in the earlier stages of memory loss. 

What is the aim of Stepping Out? 

The groups aim to provide respite for the carer, while encouraging the clients with memory loss to participate in outings, picnics, or group discussions and activities within the community environment. 

Who is eligible to participate in Stepping Out? 

Clients will need to be individually assessed for this group to ensure the group members are compatable.

What costs are involved?

Costs will vary according to individual circumstances, however fees will be kept to a minimum. Lunch and transport is provided.
