Come & join us for some social, recreational or therapeutic sessions.
These sessions are held every Friday of each month. The Social Group and therapy activities (eg Tai Chi, scrapbooking and Wii Connect) are for people with early stage dementia and their carers. Memory Matters and Health & Wellbeing are offered to members of the general public. For more information, please call Annette on 1800 100 500.
This program is scheduled for the third Friday of each month for people with early stage dementia and their carers.
The Social Group encourages people with memory loss, and their carers, to maintain their interest in the community and to socialise with each other. This group meets on the fourth Friday of each month. We will be visiting many different venues for a cup of coffee, a meal, or to participate in an interesting community event, or visit a place of interest. These groups are small and bookings are essential.
This group meets on the second Friday of the month, and is a two hour session full of quizzes, puzzles and challenging activities for the brain. This group is for the general public, especially those who are interested in trying to preserve their memory.
Health and Well-Being
These sessions are held on the first Friday of the month and focus on many aspects of maintaining a healthy body, and as a consequence, a healthy brain. This group is for the general public who are interested in trying to preserve their memory.
